About CleanStems

CleanStems is an AI audio utility for creators who need practical vocal removal and stem separation. The service is built for singers, DJs, producers, teachers, editors, and hobbyists working with audio they own or have permission to process.

Our current beta uses shared cloud processing for vocal separation, alongside browser-local tools for cutting, looping, tempo practice, playback speed and an experimental musical key estimate.

Our Direction

We are building CleanStems as a responsible music tool, not a copyright bypass service. Users are expected to upload only audio they created, own, licensed, or are otherwise allowed to process.

How We Publish Guides

Our guides explain the workflows and limitations of tools available on this site, including where AI separation may produce artifacts and where user permission is required. We update guidance when tool behavior or supported workflows materially change.
